Worked on Bedwars as a Intermediate Game Programmer. Third person shooter (C# Unity , Webgl)
Canceled Project by Equinox Games in partnership with Dotearth.
Bed wars was an interesting project to work on. I have always been surronded by networking but this was
the first time I did it myself.
Due to some early layoffs in the early state of the project I had to pick up alot of lead responsability that a usual intermediate game developer wouldn't have to do.
Fix any problems that the art team was running into such as problems with version control, Models, Characters and animations.
Coordinated directly with the project lead on the technical state of the project how to improve and what we should work on in the future
Push and create servers for all development and staging builds
Normal responsabilitys
- Collaborated with artists to implement 20 animation assets, 35 pieces of UI and 80 3d models
- Created data-driven systems for weapon, items, and match rules using Scriptable Objects and database configs.
- Weapon and weapon modification system to dynamically and easily switch property's on a weapon.
- Implemented network-synced Building using Fish-Net and data to place anything in the world.
Overall Bedwars was an exciting project that I learned alot In.
